BROMSGROVE Rovers lost 1-0 at Tiverton Town in the British Gas Business Premier Division despite a handy second-half display.
James Fraser converted a penalty for Tiverton to put them ahead on 38 minutes.
Matt Birley went close with a shot before Rovers bossed much of the second-half without finding the net.
Recent signing Shane Gill scored his first goal for Stourport Swifts but they lost 2-1 to Barton Rovers in Division One Midlands.
Gill scored on six minutes following a Richard Tompkins corner but the experienced Tony Thorpe bagged two Barton goals to clinch the points.
