CAPTAIN Joe Billingham's second-half equaliser at Daventry Town ensured Worcester Raiders remained in the FA Cup, with a replay at Sixways to come on Wednesday.
Step 4 side Daventry took the lead in the 23rd minute through skipper Jack Bowen but Jordan Murphy capitalised on a defensive mix-up moments after to lob the keeper and make it 1-1.
The goals kept coming and the hosts regained the lead in the 31st minute thanks to debutant Hasim Bakar, who slotted home from inside the area.
But Billingham's 73rd minute finish means that the sides will go head-to-head once more at Sixways on Wednesday night for the right to play Malvern Town in the preliminary round of the competition, after they beat Worcester City 2-1.
