WORCESTER City Amateur Boxing Club schoolboy Trent Smith beat southpaw Dave Coulson, of Triumph ABC, at a show in Coventry.
Boxing against the hometown boy, Smith attacked from the start.
Facing a southpaw for the first time, Smith dealt with Coulson through plenty of right hands to body and head.
After a range-finding first round, Smith started to up the pace and applied a lot of pressure against the back-peddling Coventry boy.
During the second, a hard right-hand shook Coulson to a standing count with Smith in total control.
A relentless final round saw Smith run out a comfortable winner by a unanimous points margin.
Boxing at the same venue was another Worcester schoolboy in Usman Multoni who faced local lad Liam Rafferty in a hard-fought contest.
Boxing against a taller opponent, Multoni struggled to score without getting caught himself.
He was beaten to the punch on numerous occasions which reflected in the scoring with the bout going to Rafferty on a unanimous points verdict.
