CLUBS across Europe are seemingly on stand-by to take players from Worcester Warriors as the side's financial crisis continues to drag on.

A number of Worcester's internationals are having to look for ways of picking up game time with the Autumn Internationals just around the corner.

Warriors were placed into administration and suspended from all rugby competition on Monday and are likely to not play for another couple of weeks.

The likes of prop Rory Sutherland and winger Duhan van der Merwe will be involved with Scotland in November, as will Hame Faiva and Renato Giammarioli for Italy and Santiago Medrano for Argentina.

Ulster and Bath are both interested in Sutherland, whilst van der Merwe would not be short of options.

Faiva, who moved to the club in the summer, is looking at a move to Australia and the Super Rugby competition, whilst Giammarioli, who still has not featured for Worcester, is hoping for a move back to Italy.

Warriors' captain Ted Hill is another with plenty of offers on the table, but the back-row is determined to stay.

Kyle Hatherell is rumoured to be in talks with La Rochelle, but there remains no update on whether anything has been agreed.

The sticky point for players is that the company that employs them is separate to the company that was placed into administration on Monday, meaning the players remain under contract.

But the payroll is due today (Friday September 30) and it is unlikely to be paid on time, which means all players and rugby staff would be able to hand in their 14-day notice for payment.

If that is not met in time, players would have to hand in another final notice of 14-days, but that would mean they would definitely depart the club at the end.
