THE new management team of Keenen Meakin-Richards and Graham Deakin have wasted little time in making changes to the Worcester City aside ahead of their first game in charge.

City welcome Uttoxeter Town to Claines Lane this afternoon after signing no less than five new players on Friday.

Former players Dan Okojie and Ethan Moran have both been brought back to the club, whilst the new City co-managers have also added some new faces through their contacts.

Defender Joshua Webb, who played under Meakin-Richards and Deakin at Hednesford Town, has joined the club and the bosses have also brought in one of the youngsters that is coached by Meakin-Richards during the week, Morgan Owen, from Solihull Moors on a short-term loan.

Bromsgrove Sporting's midfielder James Fry is the final player arriving, on dual registration terms. He has featured for the likes of Leamington, Tamworth and Stratford Town in recent years.

As well as incomings, two players have departed.

Young forward Archie Muirhead, who was one of those who impressed under Tim Harris last season, has opted to leave in search of a team close to home.

Defender Matt Hunt's short time with the club has also ended.

Kick-off at Claines Lane this afternoon is 3PM.
