Former Worcester Warriors' Oli Morris will play in Ireland for the remainder of the season after signing for Munster.

The Irish-qualified centre was identified by Irish Rugby’s IQ programme and was involved with the Ireland U20s in 2019.

Morris will link up with the squad this week and will stay with the side until the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign.

It further confirms his quality, as Munster are considered one of the top teams in Europe.

Morris signed his first full contract with Worcester ahead of the 2021/22 season after two successful seasons in the Three Pears Warriors Academy.

Morris arrived at Sixways from Saracens’ academy in the summer of 2019 and made a try-scoring debut against Enisei-STM in Russia in the European Rugby Challenge Cup in November 2019.

He burst onto the scene in the 2020/21 season when getting a run of games in Ollie Lawrence's absence and established himself as one of the club's bright prospects.

But now, like so many others, he has had to move on due to the club being placed into administration and suspended from all rugby activity until next season.
