IT is a decisive weekend for Stourbridge RFC as they go to Bournville knowing they must win to avoid being relegated out of the National League.

Stourbridge are currently 17 points off safety (Bournville) in the National League 2 West with just four games to play. They would need to win all games with a bonus-point to stand a chance of survival.

Even a win might not be enough for Neil Mitchell's side. They need to ensure Bournville take nothing from the game and hope they pick up zero points in their remaining fixtures.

Stourbridge are still in talks with Worcester Warriors and soon-to-be owners Jim O'Toole and James Sandford to relocate to Sixways from next season.

Should the proposal be voted through at Stourbridge and sanctioned by the Rugby Football Union, they look set to come in as a Midlands 1 side baring something remarkable.

They confirmed last week that talks between the club and Atlas - the company taking over at Sixways - are ongoing despite it now being over a month since initial plans were revealed by Atlas.

It is now also a month since the fans forum event was held at Sixways, in which O'Toole and Sandford outlined their plans for the club going forward.
