Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb promises a weekend of non-stop action as its Harvest Festival Meeting takes place on September 16 and 17.

Organisers are expecting some very quick runs as the drivers have a full season of driving under their belts.

Practices and races are taking place on both the Saturday and Sunday, starting at 9am and finishing at about 5.30pm.

The last event of the season, expect to see the usual mix of classic, saloons, sports and racing cars, as well as motorcycles. And several championships will be reaching their crucial final stages.

The Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb, organised by the Midland Automobile Club, is the oldest motorsport event to have been staged continuously on its original course, having been first run in 1905.

The 1,000-yard course rises 328 feet and is only 12 feet wide at some points.

On Saturday, September 23, car enthusiasts will have the chance to drive their own car on the famous course at an event run by Motul UK.

There are a limited number of places remaining so booking is essential.
