STOURPORT Swifts produced a 'masterclass' in counter-attacking football as they beat Eastwood Community 4-1 in the third-round of the Isuzu FA Vase on Saturday.

Jack Bailey scored twice either side of Tyler Blake's 41st-minute equaliser to give Stourport a 2-1 half-time lead, before second-half goals from Adam Hanson and Ben Tilbury completed the scoring to put the visitors into the fourth-round draw on Monday.

It took until the 35th minute for the deadlock to be broken as Bailey flicked Tilbury's cross from the right first-time into the far corner, but they were not ahead for long as Blake fired home at the second time of asking six minutes later.

But Swifts would take a lead into the break as a Bailey strike from inside the area took a wicked deflection off a diving Eastwood defender to wrong foot the keeper and find the back of the net.

Quentin Townsend's men absorbed a fair amount of pressure in the second-half but twice struck on the counter through Tilbury and Hanson's lovely curled finish to punish the hosts and book their place in the fourth- round draw.

It continues their impressive run in the competition, this game being their fourth consecutive year in the third-round, and now they will join fellow Worcestershire side Worcester City - whose game with Boston Town was postponed - in the hat, with the draw being made at 1PM on Monday.
