Ex-Worcester Warriors Seb Atkinson and Joe Batley are two of 13 uncapped players to be selected for an England training squad ahead of a test series in Argentina.
The duo were named in Steve Borthwick's 33-man squad, who are set to prepare for the forthcoming summer tour in Argentina and the United States with a two-day training camp at England's base in Surrey.
They will be joined in the squad, by headline inclusion Immanuel Feyi-Waboso of Exeter Chiefs, who is making a comeback from a dislocated shoulder.
The group omits players from either Bath or Northampton Saints ahead of their Challenge Cup and Investec Challenge Cup finals this weekend, respectively, as well as England's British and Irish Lions selections.
These selections will have particular significance for an England XV's clash with a France XV at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday, June 21 ahead of their tour of the Americas.
Atkinson, 22, who came through the Warriors academy, has flourished at Gloucester since his move to Gloucester after Worcester went to the wall in 2022.
His name is firmly stamped onto the club's 12 shirt, scoring five tries in his 16 Premiership appearances this campaign, including a barnstorming hat-trick in the Cherry and Whites' 53-28 home win over Bristol Bears in March.
Atkinson made 10 first team appearances during his Warriors tenure, scoring a five-pointer once.
Batley, 28, meanwhile, returned to the aforementioned Bears after Warriors' collapse, and similarly to Atkinson, has made the starting shirt his own.
The second rower, who has appeared eight times for Bears in the Premiership this season, crossing the whitewash twice, was selected for the England A squad during the Autumn.
Batley, who has also covered blindside flanker and number eight in the past, was a regular in the engine room during his time at Sixways from 2020 to 2022.
They will be joining the likes of George Ford and Jamie George in camp, who have been overlooked for the Lions tour.
Other uncapped players welcomed into the squad include utility forward Richard Capstick (Exeter Chiefs), second rower Arthur Clark, tighthead prop Afolabi Fasogbon (Gloucester), back rowers Emeka Ilione (Leicester Tigers) and Jack Kenningham (Harlequins), hooker Gabriel Oghre (Bristol Bears), fly-half Charlie Atkinson (Gloucester), centre Oscar Beard (Harlequins), fullback Joe Carpenter (Sale Sharks), winger Tobias Elliott (Saracens), and centres Rekeiti Ma'asi-White (Sale Sharks) and Luke Northmore (Harlequins).
