A festival celebrating women's cricket is set to return to Worcestershire this year.
The Worcestershire Cricket Foundation is gearing up for the return of MEGAFEST 2026, a day dedicated to women's cricket, on Sunday, July 5.
The event will take place between 10am and 2pm and aims to bring together players of all ages and abilities from across the county.
The festival, which has become a staple in Worcestershire's cricket calendar, is designed to be a fun, inclusive, and supportive day.
It will feature a mix of competitive and participation games, catering to all levels of interest.
Teams are encouraged to get into the spirit of the event by wearing themed fancy dress or representing their club colours.
The day will wrap up with the MEGAFEST Final and Awards Ceremony, before participants and supporters head to Visit Worcestershire New Road to watch the Women's T20 World Cup Final on the big screen.

The event is part of Worcestershire Cricket Foundation's efforts to grow the women's game across the county.
Elsa-Marie Evans, event coordinator, said: "MEGAFEST is one of our favourite events of the year because it celebrates everything that's great about women's cricket.
"The atmosphere is always fantastic, with players coming together to enjoy the game, meet new people, and be part of a vibrant cricket community.
"We're looking forward to welcoming teams from across the county and rounding off the day by watching the Women's T20 World Cup Final together."
Harry Kitchen, executive director of Worcestershire Cricket Foundation, added: "Worcestershire Cricket Foundation exists to make cricket accessible to everyone, and events like MEGAFEST are a wonderful example of that in action.
"The growth of women's and girls' cricket across Worcestershire has been incredible to see, and this event provides an opportunity to celebrate that progress while welcoming new players into the game.
"It showcases the positive impact sport can have both on and off the field."
Beyond celebrating the sport, the event also highlights the Foundation's broader work in Worcestershire, promoting participation, inclusion, wellbeing, and youth development through cricket.
