KIDDERMINSTER Harriers defender Lee Baker’s loan from West Bromwich Albion has been extended to January.
The 19-year-old joined Harriers on-loan from the Premier League newcomers in August initially for a month.
Baker, who has played four times for Harriers, impressed in a new-look back-line after overcoming a knee problem.
His stay at the club will come to an end on January 4.
Meanwhile, Harriers manager Mark Yates has also praised the efforts of top-scorer Justin Richards, who ended last season on loan at Oxford United after falling out of favour.
The 27-year-old has scored four times in six games and worked tirelessly in Saturday’s fine 2-1 win over big-spending Rushden and Diamonds.
Yates said: “Justin was outstanding. At the moment, he is the example to all the players. He’s come through a bit of adversity and has been brilliant.”
