NORTHSIDE Colts Under 13s produced a superb display to beat high-flying Kidderminster Lions 6-0 in the Stourport Youth League.

In the wind and rain, the two teams fought out a strategic first-half with Will Sowden’s solo goal giving Colts the advantage.

In the second period, Sowden saw a penalty saved before Matt Armstrong (3), Rhys Turberfield and Cam Thorne killed off the Lions.

UNDER 16s: Worcester City Wanderers battled the conditions to win 7-1 at Kinver Colts in Division Two, despite injury leaving them with 10 men.

Steve Mason, Toby Attwood (2), player-of-the-match Steve Keay (3) and Ashley Dance scored the goals.

UNDER 14s: Ryan Upson netted twice in Nunnery Wood Jaguars’ 4-2 win over Worcester Colts in Division One.

Jaguars went ahead through Chris Jeffrey’s chip but Colts levelled with a header.

In the second-half, Upson put Jaguars back ahead before Jack Finch supplied James Parkin with the third goal.

Upson added a fourth before Colts grabbed a second goal.

UNDER 12s: Three players hit braces as Northside Tigers beat Areley Kings Youth 7-1.

An impressive Kings side held Tigers 1-1 at the interval, taking the lead before John Lee levelled.

But the hosts ran riot in the second period with Brandon Beasant (2), Macauley Johnson (2), Lee and Luke Obrey scoring.

Connor Thomasson, Jordan Wise, Justin Brown and man-of-the-match Liam Giaquinto excelled in midfield.

UNDER 11s: Division One leaders Warndon Villages Sharks were made to work hard for a 2-0 win at Pershore 2007.

Sharks opened the scoring mid-way through the first-half when Jack Rule headed in Jazz Milward’s cross.

Keeper Harry Stanley and defenders Liam Dayus and Kieran Burns kept the lead intact before Callum Parker fired home a second goal.

Nunnery Wood Leopards were slightly flattered by a 3-1 win over Bewdley Comrades.

Leopards capitalised on early pressure with goals from Ben Harrington and Jack Ferman. They relaxed to allow a headed goal but then hit back to add a third through Bradley Hunt.

Jai Gilchrist and Will Henshall were on target for Nunnery Wood Tigers who beat Worcester Colts 2-0.

Against strong opposition, Jake Rousell forced a good save with Gilchrist pouncing to score from the rebound.

Harry Loader and Ben Jones were strong at the back for Tigers and Henshall sealed the win in the second-half with a fine long-range effort.

Luke Obrey and the impressive Sandro Cardoso were on target as Northside Tigers lost 4-2 at Kidderminster Harriers FITC in Division Two.

In a close clash, Tigers dropped a 2-1 half-time lead. Jordan Wise impressed.

UNDER 10s: Warndon Villages Falcons claimed a well-deserved 3-0 win at Mostyn Lions in Division Two.

Man-of-the-match Aaron Redmond defended excellently for Falcons who took the lead in the second-half through Kieran Milner.

With all three subs on, goals from Casey-Joe Gormley and Iwan Thomas secured the three points.

UNDER NINES: Player-of-the-match Daniel Harding scored as Nunnery Wood Sharks drew 1-1 with Bewdley Comrades in Division Two.

Barney Williams pulled off two fine saves but Comrades eventually took the lead.

Sharks settled and turned on the pressure with Harding burying the ball after a great save from the keeper.
