WORCESTER St John’s Cycling Club’s latest time trial saw 31 riders arrive at the city’s Carrington Bridge to compete on a lovely summer’s evening.
Steve Price clocked an impressive time of 43 minutes, 49 seconds and claimed the Underwood Cup in his first club time trial since coming back from a hip injury.
More than a minute behind, Dave Walker came in second with 45.07. Dan Jones was third with a much-improved personal best time of 46.50.
However, Sean Dyson still has a commanding lead at the top of the club’s time trial league.
