STEVE Dring, of the Pershore-based Echelon-Spiuk cycling club, gained three recent podium places.
He took first place at Wool, in Dorset, winning the bunch sprint, and followed this up with second place in the Weymouth Road Race.
Dring completed his success with third spot in the elite race at Upavon where the leading group of five lapped the field .
Echelon’s Joe Page took his second win in the Castle Coombe junior series where he also won the sprint. He also recorded a personal best time of 23 minutes 15 seconds to earn third place in the Midlands Schoolboys 10 mile Time Trial which qualifies him for the national final.
Michelle Parsons and Paul Dring, produced their fastest ever times over 50 miles at the Bristol South Time Trial at Cirencester.
Parsons won the women’s event in one hour 56 minutes 50 seconds, while Dring recorded 1:47:22 to give him 10th spot in the men’s event.
Adrian Bird was fourth at Cheltenham and Dan Bill also fourth in the Stratford Road Race.
