HOSTS Worcester Nomads saw off Barnards Green by 66 runs in the Worcestershire Cricket Board Under 13s League.
Nomads finished on 157-4 off 20 overs with Jamie Oliver and Jake Pinder-Hampton retiring on 33 and 31 respectively.
Oliver hit two sixes and was involved in a bright opening partnership with Lewis Austin (25).
With a challenging target, Green needed a good start but bowlers Will Elt and Lewis Richardson put the brakes on.
Dominic Badger then collected 4-9 from four overs as Green staggered to 91-7.
Nomads Under 11s lost to Dominies and Guild by nine runs in the Bishop’s Trophy pairs.
Nomads scored 262-3 with Nick Humphries hitting an impressive 26, including four fours and a six.
In response, Dominies only lost two wickets in reaching 271.
They gave a solid display in beating Worcester by 21 runs, reaching 260-1 with Ollie Ranscombe scoring 14.
Worcester fell short on 239-6, mainly due to the swing bowling of Humphries (2-16).
Nomads Under 12s won by 35 runs against Evesham with H Dawson scoring 30 retired as they managed 97-5.
Evesham replied with 62-8 from their 20 overs with M Hines taking 3-6.
They also beat Hanley Castle by 79 runs, totalling 118-6 with J Elston hitting 32. Castle could only score 39-7.
