BROMSGROVE Rovers fans have called a public meeting to discuss a winding-up order served on the club.

The Victoria Ground outfit face a hearing in the High Court on October 23 after former director John Teece issued the order in a bid to retrieve £5,000 allegedly owed to him.

Organised by Justice for Shareholders, the meeting takes place in the DDS&S Club, Stourbridge Road, on Friday at 7.30pm.

Spokesman Rob McLaren said: “We need to fully understand the situation and start to galvanise the town into saving the club.”
