THREE of last season's England ‘A’ internationals will make their debuts for North Midlands Under 18s in their opening match in this season's Midlands Under 18 Championship against Warwickshire at Broadstreet RFC near Coventry tomorrow (7.30pm).

Props Hugh McBride (Bromsgrove School) and Ryan Furniss (Worcester Sixth Form College) and flanker Barnaby Woods (Bromsgrove School) were all involved in the Millfield International Festival in April.

All three came through the North Midlands Under 16 set-up to win Divisional honours with the Midlands where they impressed the England selectors.

McBride, Furniss and Woods step up an age group this season and will be aiming to make an early impression on the Midlands selectors who will be watching the game ahead of the Divisional Festival in Leeds in early January.

North Midlands will be aiming to go one better than last season when they finished as runners-up to Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire.

Other Two Counties players in the squad: Kristian Brindley (Fairfax College and Worcester), Bill Harling (RGS Worcester), Henry Waltier (Bromsgrove School), Will Brennan (Prince Henry's HS, Evesham), Tom Griffiths (Bromsgrove School), Hugh Lockhart (Bromsgrove School), Sean Young (Bromsgrove School), Scott Robinson (Hereford Cathedral School and Hereford), Matt Wilkes (Ludlow College and Luctonians), James Parker (Hereford Cathedral School and Hereford), Daniel Skinner (Bromsgrove College and Worcester), Brad Talbot (Hereford Technical College and Hereford), Joseph Senior (King's School Worcester), Jack Philp (Bromsgrove School).
