PHIL Jaques' inclusion in the Australia squad for their forthcoming two-Test series in Bangladesh will indirectly mean him missing Worcestershire's first six games of the season.
Although the second Test against Bangladesh is scheduled to finish on April 21, presuming the match lasts all five days, Jaques would have been able to arrive at New Road in time for the first Liverpool Victoria Championship game of the season at home to Somerset on April 26.
However, following Jaques' call-up to the Australia squad for the Boxing Day Test last year, he was subsequently in contention for his country's tours to South Africa and Bangladesh.
Because of that, he decided to re-arrange his wedding to keep himself available if required.
As a result, Jaques and his wife's 10-day honeymoon now coincides with the start of the English domestic season.
