FOUR-goal Simon Tinley led the charge as Worcester Men's Fourths trounced Hereford 8-1.

The city started brightly and soon turned possession into goals with Tinley's shot half-saved and slotted in by Tom Padden.

Tinley was soon on the scoresheet, neatly deflecting a ball in from Mel Wycherley and touching home a Padden cross.

Dave Richman denied Hereford a goal with a magnificent save on the line but the visitors lobbed home one before the interval.

The second-half mirrored the first with Worcester generally on top and Tinley's shot from Ian Ewers' deflected effort struck a defender on the way to goal.

Chris Kendall made it five by slipping the ball underneath the 'keeper and Ewers added a quality strike from the edge of the `D' in off the post.

Chris Simmonds finished off a great run with a reverse-stick shot and Tinley completed the scoring for Worcester who were inspired by skipper York Senior.

John Sprague and Owen Edwards both scored twice as the Fifths defeated Ludlow Firsts 5-2.

Worcester began the game well with good ball retention for the first 20 minutes and went ahead through Sprague.

Ludlow equalised soon after but Worcester broke away for Edwards to supply Sprague with his second.

Dan Keyte bagged a third at the start of the second period although his shot was mis-hit. Ludlow scored their second before goal poacher Edwards added two more for the hosts.

Five goals in each half earned Worcester Sixths a 10-2 triumph at Ludlow Seconds.

There were great performances from the Young brothers, Chris and Tim, as well as Nagushan Abimanue.

Joe Drewett (three), Gerry Kort (two), Tim Young (two), Paul Simons, Stuart Munday and Abimanue scored.

A close game saw Worcester Badgers Potters edge home 2-1 against Worcester Pippins.

Abimanue and Josh White scored for Potters after Pippins' Joe Senior opened the scoring, pushing in a hit from the edge of the circle.

Abimanue converted a fine move to equalise and White slotted home Simon Dorrell's cross for the second-half winner.

Stourport Men's Firsts finished their English League National North campaign by beating Formby 5-1.

Phil Lashford (three), Imran Yousaf and Marc Edwards were on target.
