ANDY Preece is satisfied with Worcester City's away displays -- despite not landing a single league win on their travels.

City's Nationwide Nor-th winless streak this season stretched to six following Tuesday night's 2-2 draw at county rivals Redditch United.

Preece's team also failed to win FA Cup fixtures at Accrington Stanley and Chippenham, although both 1-1 draws were excellent results and City prevailed in those ties.

The St George's Lane club's only competitive victory on their travels came at Stourport Swifts, when a youthful City line-up triumphed in the low-priority Worcestershire Senior Cup.

On the flip-side, City are unbeaten in six away matches and player-manager Preece is content with his side's overall performances.

"I can't say our away form is bad," said Preece. "We've only lost two away games all season and we are unbeaten in five, which does not include the game at Stourport.

"But obviously, we have not won any and that's frustrating.

"We created loads of clear-cut chances at Workington and should have won by a big margin.

"At Moor Green, the game should have been all over by half-time. We played really well in the first-half without getting the result. We also played well in the second-half at Lancaster.

"Chippenham had won 12 at home before playing us, so getting a replay was a good result. And I was delighted to get a draw at Accrington."

Preece added: "We always go to win, whether we are home or away. It's never been a case of settling for a draw or playing for a draw, except perhaps at Accrington. We were a bit defensive then, but that's the exception."

Worcester have a great chance to break their hoodoo over the next month, with five away games in the next seven.

Preece said: "We are in the middle of a run of three away games and then we've got another four on the bounce in January. There's plenty coming up and, hopefully, we'll break the run."
