TEENAGER Ryan Holdham has finished the jujutsu season with four gold and three silver medals.
The Rushwick 17-year-old’s latest medals came in the national championships at Perdiswell Leisure Centre, Worcester.
Holdham won the intermediate kumite and came second in the adult grappling section.
The medals came only eight weeks after breaking ribs in his third World Martial Arts Championships in Las Vegas, where he won two golds in the intermediate kumite and grappling.
He also won a silver in the adult section where he fought one of America’s fourth dan instructors.
The 17-year-old roof tiler is now back to full fitness, training four-times-a-week with the Tai Jutsu Kai association.
He has been helped by Senseis Ross Iannoccaro John Sharpe but the next big challenge is his driving test on December 13.
