TOWERING lock Craig Gillies becomes the leading appearance maker in the club’s history and back row star Matt Kvesic makes his full league debut as Worcester Warriors entertain Esher in the Championship at Sixways tomorrow (3pm).

Second row Gillies makes his 223rd club appearance and overtakes legendary front row Tony Windo in the record books as he is paired alongside the recalled Will Bowley.

Head coach Richard Hill makes a total of seven changes to the side that secured a bonus point victory over Rotherham Titans last weekend.

Tom Arscott returns at full back while Spanish speedster Oriol Ripol replaces rested leading try scorer Marcel Garvey on the wing.

Scrum-half Jonny Arr and fly-half Joe Carlisle will combine at half-back.

Prop Callum Black replaces namesake Adam in the front row while England Under-20 star Kvesic - who impressed in recent bench appearances against Plymouth Albion and Rotherham Titans - is named at openside flanker as Pat Sanderson moves to blindside for the league game with the Surrey-based outfit.

Meanwhile, the club are working around the clock to prepare the pitch and complex to ensure that the game goes ahead.

Parts of the stadium pitch were covered las night ahead of the frost and following the team run the entire playing surface has again be protected by the ground staff.

The roads in and around the Sixways complex will also be gritted.
