KIDDERMINSTER Har-riers manager Steve Burr says on-pitch matters can be the only focus for his players.

The Aggborough side are due to host Kettering Town in the Blue Square Bet Premier today (3pm) as they bid to stretch their unbeaten league run to nine matches.

However, while Harriers seek to cement their place in the play-offs, the club is in crisis off the pitch with its very existence on the line.

They need to raise £150,000 by the end of December to stay afloat and an additional £50,000 before the end of January.

A plea has been made by Kidder-minster Harriers Independent Sup-porters’ Trust (KHIST) for fans to help out or risk losing the club.

To make matters worse, Harriers are due to go before Conference officials on Thursday charged with breaking league rules on financial reports.

The allegations relate to discrepancies over a Financial Reporting Initiative during the period between August 2009 and May 2010.

It is all adding up to a bleak Christmas at Aggborough but Burr is trying to keep his side focused on playing football.

He said: “It’s not good but all we can do is try and concentrate on the football.

“The sooner it’s sorted out the better.”
