Graham Glenister, who is the class ‘A’ PGA Professional at Ombersley Golf Club, is offering a free lesson to any newcomer to the game.

Meanwhile, the ladies’ section at Ombersley held their annual presentation evening and the prizes were presented by captains Pauline Bryant and Mike Kriese This year’s prestigious ‘order of merit’ title went to Jennie Taylor for gaining the highest aggregate score in eight qualifying competitions. The ladies singles event was won by Bryant, while Sandra Pomeroy and Janet Gore claimed the doubles crown.
