ADAM Hart won the D and G Hughes Cup in Worcester St John’s Cycling Club’s 14-mile hilly race at Bransford.

Thirty-four riders contested the second trophy of the season on a fine summer’s evening and Hart clocked 35 minutes 24 seconds.

Second was Rob Nicholls in 36.05 with Adrian Bird doing a commendable 37.14 for third after a recent accident.

Saints are running a 10-mile time trial at Norton tonight at 7.15pm with signing-on by the Carrington Bridge beforehand.

Saints will run an open 28-mile time trial on Saturday, June 18, over a two-lap course.

It runs at 9am from the headquarters at Inkberrow Village Hall, Sands Road.
