THE Mercian Festival Junior League has room for boys’ teams in some age groups with applications required by July 30.
To encourage female football in Worcestershire, the league has extended the deadline for registering additional girls’ teams to July 31. For next season, girls will kick-off at 10.30am on Saturdays in mini-soccer at under 10s (six-a-side) and under 11s level (seven-a-side). There will be nine-a-side youth football for under 12s, 14s and 15s.
