EVESHAM Wheelers’ Simon Wix won his second Worcester St John’s Cycling Club time trial at Old Hills, Callow End.

Wix, who also triumphed at Broadheath the week before, clocked 22 minutes 39 seconds over 10 miles, ahead of Echelon-Rotor’s Paul Dring in 22.39 and Rob Nicholls in 23.01.

St John’s are running the Ankerdine hill climb in conjunction with VC Sevale on Tuesday, meeting at 6.45pm by the Talbot Inn pub, Knightwick.
