KIDDERMINSTER finished their Birmingham League season with a 31-run defeat against Wellington.
Highlight of the match was an innings of 126 by Tim Hancock who, with former West Indies player Phil Sim-monds (67), led Wellington to a total of 261-6 after 55 overs.
Skipper Jonathan Wright was Kidderminster's best bowler with figures of 4-27 off six overs.
The Chester Road club made a poor start to their reply and it was only a battling unbeaten 86 from Craig Wood, with nine fours and three sixes, and 48 from Will Gifford that enabled Kidderminster to reach 230 all out.
