ANDY Morrison has been hit with a six-match touchline ban and £750 fine by the Football Association in the aftermath of the abandoned pre-season match with Kidderminster Harriers.

Worcester City's assistant manager admitted an FA charge of violent conduct and/or threatening behaviour towards an opponent during the August 5 clash.

The 36-year-old former Manchster City defender's ban takes effect from October 2 and prohibits him from joining manager Andy Preece in the dug-out until the visit of Scarborough on November 18.

Morrison has been the subject of disciplinary action since his alleged involvement in a dressing room bust-up during the abandoned match with Harriers.

The match, which saw Adam Webster stretchered off with an ankle injury inside 60 seconds, was called off when Kidderminster boss Mark Yates led his players from the pitch with 19 minutes remaining.

Morrison has already served a three-match ban and paid a fine imposed by the club following their internal inquiry.
