WORCESTER'S young stars shone brightly on Monday night as the Warriors Academy ran in 11 tries to overwhelm The Army 74-3 at Sixways.
A stunning display of forward power and cutting backs play - from a Worcester side that were all under 23 - saw six first-half tries.
Ollie Hayes, Andy Short, James Whybrow, George Porter, Nile Dacres and Sam Miller all crossed the whitewash as the home side took a commanding 41-0 interval lead.
The Army battled bravely throughout and deserve huge plaudits for never letting their heads drop, but further scores from Hayes, who completed a double, a powerful burst from new Samoan back row Richard Muagututia and Ben Howard, Rhys Morgan and a penalty try completed the big home rout.
