WORCESTER City are up for national honours after winning the regional outstanding netball club accolade.
They collected the gong at the Goalden Globe awards for the West Midlands at Walsall Village Hotel.
The event recognises achievements on the court, volunteering and clubmark prizes. Worcester will hope to win again at the national awards ceremony in September after also gaining their silver clubmark cap with a gold the new target.
The club boast more than 200 members with their sister club Evesham, including a thriving youth section, and play in various divisions from grassroots to Premier Two nationally.
Chairman Sam Rudd said: “I am so proud of the club and all our members for the effort they put in, not just as sportswomen but volunteers, umpires and coaches.”
