SALLY Gleaves is proving an inspiration at the new Worcester Taekwon-Do club.
The 25-year-old has received her fourth-degree black belt from Master Wolf’s Taekwon-Do Academies and is ranked UK number one in female black belt patterns for the association.
She bagged the female black belt competitor of the year in patterns for 2012 by winning a number of competitions.
Gleaves has been training in the sport since she was around nine years old as well as in various other martial arts.
Along with first-degree black belt Neil Doherty, she opened the Worcester school in Shrub Hill two months ago. Their early success means they will be sending students to the world championships next year.
Gleaves has inspired many females to take up and succeed in martial arts over the years but always welcomes new students.
Anyone interested can call Gleaves on 07813-117684, Doherty on 07581-153701 or head along to the classes at The Corner Studio, Unit 11a Shrub Hill Industrial Estate.
They run on Thursdays and Sundays from 7pm until 8pm for those aged seven upwards.
