MANAGER Carl Heeley admitted his disappointment at Worcester City ’s display as they lost their 100 per cent home record.

City were heading for three points at St George’s Lane until Paul Beesley grabbed an equaliser with an injury-time tap-in.

Heeley said: “We want to win our home games and we’re disappointed in the performance. I felt our passing has been better than that and been more fluent and I didn’t feel we troubled their keeper as much as we should have done.

“Overall, I felt Harrogate were the better side in the first-half, we were spluttering a bit and couldn’t quite get into our stride.

“We were quite bold and made three substitutions early on in the second-half to try and give us a spark and it worked to a certain degree with Danny Glover getting another goal.

“Then we had our best spell when we looked confident and kept the ball but ultimately we didn’t deal with a throw in and it was a very poor goal to concede at any time in the game.”

He added: “It’s frustrating. It’s human nature when you get the ball to stick it into good areas and go long but that’s not what we were encouraging them to do.

“Myself and Matt Gardiner were screaming at the players to just keep the ball and pass it.

“Their pride has been injured at the end because they felt they didn’t play well and they could have done much better.”
