How they rated:

Harriers 2, Boston 0

Hall: Dealt well with testing Boston corners early on and positioned nicely to make two good saves in the second half. 7.

Williams: A late call up after James Pearson fell ill during the warm-up but did well at right back. Always keen to burst forward but defended well when required. 7.

Austin: Ever willing to advance down the left flank but did look backwards a few times too often in the second half. His pace is always a threat in support and he too was part of a backline that kept a clean sheet. 7.

Croasdale: Another really nice performance fro. The skipper who is excelling in a more advanced role since the introduction of Declan Weeks as the insurance policy in front of the backline. Had two good efforts pushed away in either half and only narrowly missed with a first time effort late on. 7.5.

Horsfall: Another solid showing from the central defender. There is still a lot of potential to be realised and he grew into the contest. Composed on the ball and made a hosts of well time covering challenges. 7.5.

O'Connor: He'll be pleased with another clean sheet and another solid showing. Made important clearing headers in the second half and played some neat balls down the right flank to set Harriers on the attack. 7.

Weeks: He seems to be getting better with each game recently. Another mature and accomplished performance as Harriers' deepest midfielder in front of the back four. Always an option and hardly wasted a pass. Becoming more and more vital to how Harriers want to play. 8.

McQuilkin: Another solid box-to-box showing in Harriers' engine room. Snapped into challenges, supported attacks and set up his team's second. 7.5.

Ironside: Good hold up place from the front man and capped a hard working performance by heading home McQuilkin's cross in the second half. 7.5.

Ngwatala: Tends to drift in and out of games at times but is almost unplayable when in the mood. Always on the turn and put in another eye-catching display, especially his first half strike to set the Reds on the way to victory. 7.5.

Brown: A difficult night for the attacker. Found it hard to get into the game out on the left flank and was replaced by Sonupe early in the second half. 6.5.

Subs:

Sonupe: All action introduction by the winger. Always looking to run at defenders for burst in behind. Had two efforts sail narrowly wide. An impressive impact. 7.

Truslove: Always looking for space in between the lines to get on the ball. Good to get more minutes under the belt on his return from injury. 6.5.

Danko: Late replacement for Ngwatala. N/A.
