LONG-serving flanker Jake Abbott has been released by Worcester Warriors.
The 26-year-old, who progressed through Worcester’s mini junior set-up, made 72 first-team appearances.
During his time at Sixways, Abbott scored 16 tries, helped Warriors secure promotion from the Championship in 2011 and appeared for the England Sevens side.
Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan said: “Jake has been a fantastic servant to this club for a long time and has demonstrated the utmost professionalism.
“I would like to thank him for his efforts during his time at Sixways and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
