TRAVIS Head’s hopes of making his first appearance in Worcestershire colours were thwarted by the weather.
The County 2018 overseas player flew in on Friday after a successful winter with Australia, South Australia and Adelaide Strikers.
Head was part of a 13-strong squad for the one-day red-ball friendly with Gloucestershire at Bristol.
But it was the same story as in recent weeks with the weather as rain caused the game to be called off at 2pm today without a ball being bowled.
