VICTORY for Highgate United has ended Worcester City's slim hopes of making the Midland League Premier Division's promoted top two.

Highgate won 3-1 at Coventry United to go four points ahead of fourth-placed City in second with just one game to play for each.

Coleshill Town are still in the running with two matches to go and only a one-point deficit on Highgate to make up.

A trip to Rocester awaits Coleshill on Tuesday followed by Saturday's fixture at Shawbury United.

Highgate host Coventry United on Saturday while Worcester finish their season at fifth-from-bottom South Normanton Athletic.
