WORCESTER Wolves have strengthened their backcourt options by signing Great Britain player Paul Guede for the remainder of the season.
The 27-year-old, who can play at small forward or shooting guard, is set to make his debut in tonight's match against Leicester Riders after completing the paperwork before the Christmas break.
However, the University Arena side are still searching for a centre to provide competition for Robert Thurman.
Guede began this season at London Lions before joining Slovakian club Prievidza for a second spell after securing silverware with them during his first stint.
He has also enjoyed successful spells in the German League with Goettingen and was rewarded with selection for the GB squad this year.
Director of basketball Paul James said: "We are always looking to improve the Wolves line-up and create different options on the court and Paul will certainly enable us to do that.
"We are delighted to be bringing him to Worcester and are sure that he will excite the Worcester fans with his style of play.”
