HEAD coach Carl Hogg will not be answering questions on Worcester Warriors’ rugby and commercial structures at this afternoon’s press conference.
Former Bath, London Irish and Newcastle Falcons chief Gary Gold is being linked with a move to Warriors.
The 49-year-old is expected to be brought into Sixways for the rest of the season as a consultant, according to a national report.
Warriors are also believed to have made an official approach to former Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill to take up a similar role at Sixways next term.
Ex-Saracens chief executive officer Edward Griffiths is also being linked with Warriors, although a source close to the club denied the move.
This morning, a Warriors statement said: “To be clear, Carl Hogg will not be answering any questions regarding the club’s rugby and commercial management structures or his role amid speculation regarding Gary Gold, Richard Cockerill and Edward Griffiths.
“As is our policy in these situations, we will not comment on speculation and, if there is any news to report further down the line, you (the local media) will be the first to hear about it.”
