CROCKED centre Ben Te’o faces a battle to be fit for the start of England’s Six Nations campaign in February.
Worcester Warriors expect the 30-year-old to be out for a further six weeks as he battles to overcome an ankle injury.
Te’o has been on the treatment table since sustaining a "high-grade syndesmosis injury" in Warriors’ 30-20 win over Brive in the European Challenge Cup in mid-October.
The blow forced him to miss England’s autumn Tests against Samoa, Australia and Argentina as well as a chunk of Warriors’ season.
But Te’o will be looking to shake off his injury in time for the national side's Six Nations opener against Italy in Rome on Sunday, February 4.
