Children and young people up to the age of 19 in full time education within the county are being encouraged to enter the potentially life changing competition. The Beacon Camera Club, a registered charity based in Malvern, is once again playing host to the popular competition which it operates in association with the Worcestershire County Council Children’s Services Directorate. The winning photographers will receive a photographic training day, a mounted print of their winning image, and other photographic items. There is no theme and images can be on any subject they choose and taken on any camera which produces digital images. Trevor Bell, from Beacon Camera Club said: "Everyone has a photograph that they take and think 'wow that’s really good, or arty or just takes your breath away' this competition aims to help children and young people across the county to share and celebrate their achievement of their perfect picture".
