SIR - We were overjoyed to read that the Worcester edition of Monopoly is out this week.
The desecration of this once beautiful city continues unabated - over the years we have seen the demise of Lychgate, Newport Street, Tybridge Street and so on... and now Diglis. We have also seen the creation of eyesores such as Blackfriars then CrownGate and the Cathedral Plaza. Whoever dreamed up that ghastly American name?
We cannot wait to buy up the very few remaining historical buildings and quaint streets and save them from destruction by ignorant planners, councillors and developers. And we know who we are sending straight to jail!
