SIR – Nine out of 10 people cannot name our new police and crime commissioner (Worcester News, February 25). Bill Longmore’s name will be remembered by the public when he does something worthwhile remembering to earn his well above average salary.
Like bringing some respect back to the police force who do a dangerous job under difficult circumstances earning a below-average wage.
