SIR – I could not believe my eyes when I read on page about developers wanting to build houses on Severn Trent Water’s old headquarters in Bromwich Road, Worcester (Worcester News, February 26).
How could anyone wish to put families through the agony of terrible smells coming from the sewage works nearby.
Anyone who lives nearby or travels down that road will tell you it is diabolical.
Hopefully, common sense will prevail when it comes to planning.
