SIR – It looks like Mr [John] Shearon (Worcester News, June 25) and Mr [Jed] King (Worcester News, July 1) are both tarred with the same brush.
Flush with the idea that all faith schools indoctrinate the children in their care, their letters show intolerance, prejudice, narrow-minded and bigoted views – precisely those which the Christian faith schools that I have knowledge about carefully guide the children to realise are wrong.
I would suggest that these two gentlemen visit such schools before making irresponsible comments.
They may be surprised by how popular they are and how very good the education is.
Is it becoming the right now of those with no faith to condemn any who may have?
