SIR – The Worcester City Football Club Supporters’ Trust planning application is due to go in shortly but there are huge questions about this whole proposal.

Who, apart from fans and the trust, is actually in favour of building a football stadium on Perdiswell Park?

Where will up to 4,000 fans park their inevitable cars?

Despite what they claim, it won’t be at the park and ride, it will be in surrounding streets.

What evidence is there that the city needs more sports facilities?

How can the council allow building over our precious green spaces?

The whole idea is a terrible mistake.

Councillors should publicly back or support the plans if they are in favour and local people must give voice to their objections.
