SIR – I pass the lake in Gheluvelt Park at least five times a week but am always fascinated by the many ducks on view.
I have found it well nigh impossible to count just how many there are though have come to the conclusion they total at least 500.
Does anyone know the correct figure or have a better estimate than mine?
