SIR – Re the recent letters about the proposed lap dancing club in the Butts.
You have received a lot of correspondence from councillors and readers about the impact such a venue will have on children and visitors to the Hive.
There is something you all have overlooked.
The club will open late at night, long after the Hive has closed and children are in bed and will be closed long before the Hive opens and the children can be dragged out of their beds.
Fair play to the applicant though for listening to local views and withdrawing his proposal.
