Sir, A sunny afternoon, jazz by Dene River Jazzmen, lovely refreshments available - where was I? - in Cripplegate Park on Sunday May 4.
The band was arranged by the council and the event was in aid of Ethan's Charity for Support the Heroes.
These events, with bands playing and raising money for various charities, will be in the park on alternate Sundays. It is hoped the weather will be kind on each occasion. The next one will be on May 18 and the Tenbury Teme Valley Band will be providing the music from 2.30-4.30pm.
